Spatial Workshop 1

This is a staircase that leads up to the AA wing. It is used to get around the school and can let you move around while its raining. The staircase is dark and moody with brick walls conveying a uneasy feeling making you feel on edge. When I first saw this staircase I thought it looked like a dungeon.
Project Video Link
This is the entrance to the E wing. There is some color such as the orange stripe which can depict energy and excitement influencing a students feelings. There are also windows that can let natural light in and can let students see the nature outside giving positive energy. The walls are made of brick but the way they are painted makes it appear more friendly.

This is an outdoor area connecting the A wing to the AA wing of the campus. There are trees and bright coloured chairs conveying a sense of positivity. The area around it is made of concrete but that does not change the overall mood of the location. There is also some metal painted blue on the top of the building on the left.

Spatial Workshop 2

Stairs with spikes and stains on it making it dangerous and moody. It was designed with the feelings that the staircase invoked but the feelings were extremely exaggerated.
Project Video Link
This iteration was designed with safety in mind making it feel the complete opposite of the original staircase. There is also an elevator for those who are disabled which can add convience.

The staircase was designed with comfort in mind with lighting below the staircase along with a bar of lights on the ceiling. There is also a window on the right side allowing natural light in.

Final Project 2 Design

This is my final projection mapping design. The description and the meaning is pasted within the window.

My projection mapping depicts a dragon breathing fire onto a building, with the flames being subdued by rising water, symbolizing conflict transforming into renewal and resolution.
